thanks for that, crankshafts have been used in polo before, but they have the disadvantage in that when the goalie puts their paddle up to block a shot, it is very hard to know where the paddle blade is in relation to the shaft being held.
What I am looking at more is the person sitting in the kayak rather than the paddles being used. Thank you for your help.
