If you want a boat you can trust, you need to glass the inside. It's a structural issue (especially if you have already glassed the outside). To understand what the glass is really doing structurally, I recommend reading the explanation given by Vaclav at One Ocean Kayaks. The article explains it all very clearly. Good luck.

: seal the inside of the hull with epoxy. On p. 124 there's a discussion of
: whether or not to fiberglass the outside of the hull.
