It's worth it ( I think)?

After looking at the alternative, I went ahead and paid the price for the good stuff. Clear, straight grained, face cut, 16 to 20 footers. I should have almost 100% usable strips (excluding the sawdust). Face cut pieces were hard to find but.... I did.

The cheeper stuff I found is full of knots at random locations and would take me till the end of next month to scarf it all together.

The other wood we have good supply of out here that I am using is Redwood and it's relatively easy to find in clear straight grained pieces. It's close to the same price as the W.R. Cedar and similar densities.

If the weather is nice this weekend, I should be started stripping the hull by Monday.
