Hi Brian,

> Well, I hope that all the time and effort gets a good result.

There ain't no free lunch. You want a good result-plan to spend time, effort, and $$ to achieve it.

>... Are you using a positive air mask goggles and controlled environment when spraying?

No, just a good charcoal filter and mask, inside a garage. I hose down the floor before I spray, but I don't get anal about making a paint booth out of PVC and plastic tarps. Just remember that LP is POISON, and a positive pressure forced air mask is best. Remember Bophal (sp?) India? Union Carbide killed 3000+ Indians with an Isocyanate spill several years ago. And guess what a primary component of LP is?

>I always thought that the combustion problem was a concern.

Naaah. Just don't spray around open flames (like water heaters).

> Can spray be done in a garage type set up with the appropriate tarps/covers?

Sure. Cover your wife's car in the adjacent garage bay. Guess who forgot that little detail! Can you spell "overspray"? But spraying outdoors early in the AM on a STILL day is probably best. No worrys about overspray, less concern about vapors, and less dust. Don't leave the boat out overnight (it'll probably be damp in the early AM), put down a tarp if spraying over grass or dirt, and blast away!

Regards,

Pete
