Hey Brian, I`ve installed pedals in several kayaks using some stuff which here in Norway is named "Sicaflex" (I´m shure a similar stuff is available in US too). It looks like silicone but isn`t. It´s a lot more like glue but still very flexible when cured. Both sides to be glued must be cleaned well and not be touched by naked fingers before glueing. Put on a stripe of the magic stuff on the bracket and press it onto the hull. Keep it under pressure for 12 hours. Thats it. Eirik
