That being said, I felt the conclusion of that thread was unsatisfactory. I was new on the BBS at the time, and so kept my peace, thinking someone else would offer the final wisdom. If it came, I missed it. In short capsule:
The MSDS quoted from was for resin, and reflects its more benign nature. The MSDS for *hardeners* indicates what all of us already know: that it is much more volatile and dangerous to health.
Thanks for letting me waste your time by reopening that can of worms.
