In this neck of the woods (Western Canada) it's cheaper to build from
plans. Pygmy doesn't offer plans for those boats yet, as far as I know - just
kits.

What with exchange rate, shipping, customs brokerage etc, I'd pay twice
as much as building from plans.

I'd been considering a Chesapeake, but since I have plans for a Cape Charles
available in the book, I simply wanted to know if it was a decent boat or not.
It may not be the latest and greatest, but it looks simple and inexpensive.

Just my 3 cents (Canadian)
