What I'm looking for is a boat that is maneuverable and durable so that I can use it in rivers (I won’t be whitewater kayaking, but the rivers might be a bit rough in spots), stable enough that I can cast from it without adding stabilizers, and yet still able to track straight and keep up with my brothers (without working myself to death) when we go out together. In otherwords, I want a boat that can do it all.

As far as lightening Mike's load is concerned, he is building a strip boat for his wife and has been banned from any new boats until he finishes that one...so much for talking him out of one of his boats.
