SF Bay area source for cedar
Truitt & White, in Berkeley, has western red cedar 1-by and 2-by clear, kiln-dried boards available in lengths up to 20 feet. Also check Beronio Lumber in San Francisco for air-dried.
Cedar is tough to find in CA, as it's a direct competitor of the native redwood, which is much cheaper to ship in-state--this according to Dan White of Truitt & White.
