hmm.. interesting testimonials.
here's mine:
I don't know whether I'm allergic to poison Oak/ivy .
I don't think I'm elergic to epoxy rasin/hardener or uncured epoxy,
but I'm not sure because I rarely came in contact with them - when the
gloves ripped, & for a short period of time.
about cured epoxy dust - big no no !
after a minute or so the skin on my right hand dry out & becomes red.
no rush yet. if I ignore it than a rush would apear sometime later.
the doctor said it's a new allergy & it's for life. he gave me an
ointment called "triamcinolone acetonide ointment 0.1% "
this product only comes with doctor's prescription.
it helps much more than cortisons, but what really helps is the protection
from that dust.
I didn't touch epoxy for few months now & there's no sign for any allergy
on the hand. It will appear immediately if I touch epoxy dust.
I only got that allergy on my right hand, which is the hand I used most.
I didn't protected it while sanding, I assumed it's just dust, like any
other dust.
the doctor said cortisons don't do anything for the allergy.
they might ease the rush, but any moisturising cream would do that.
