I reading this link and I'm horrified. You mean people actually register kyaks ..like skin boats too. I'm not from Nabraska but nobody registers kayaks in Connecticut. I know of no registrations in New England. I thought the ACA tried to fight that down in almost all states.

There's a saying "It's easier to apologize than ask permission" I'll live by that code. You have to nip these things off at the bud. When you hear of some jackass politician trying to introduce something like this contact the ACA (American Canoe Association) and organize a battle!
