No but I have dropped a loaded kayak (person included) from 2 feet up, onto some rocks, no sand, just softball sized rocks! I was petrified, scared to look! But when I checked, I realized I had some scratches in the VARNISH, didn't get into the glass at all. I have put some other scratches in it from particularly sharp rocks, but these boats are pretty durable. I'm not nearly as carfull with my kayaks as I was two years ago. They have proven to be quite tough, but they do suffer cosmetic damage from time to time.
I do know someone who has holed a production fiberglass Sitka though.
