: Does anyone have any information on the size and shape of the Aleut
: single-bladed paddle? Zimmerly mentions their existence but gives no
: information in his website. There is alot of info around on alaskan single
: bladed paddles but to my knowlege they are from kayak types that were
: paddled in the kneeling position such as the kodiak, norton island, or
: king island. Such paddles are around five feet in length or longer. Does
: anyone know of arctic peoples who used single paddles in the seated
: position? I am curious as to the variations in shapes and lengths to the
