: I started to plane a strip for my shear strip and tried to bend it to follow

The Night Heron has quite a tight curve at the bow and stern. To make the bend easier I taper the strips at the ends. The problem with this is it makes it so the next strips need to bend even more, so I continue with a few narrow strips then let a wide strip go straight. Then I filled "up" from this strip with cheater to the sheer strips.
The picture below is as good as I have for showing this stripping pattern.
