The angle on my seat is rather hard to measure because its all curved surfaces. It max'es out at 5 degrees in front fo the dimples. I'm sure the angle sould vary from paddler to paddler and from boat to boat, i.e. low decks and straight knees would require a lower angle.
My backrest is hung on slings and conforms to any angle my back happens to be.
