Past experience with spot putty and red auto body filler has been that it will absorb water and swell if exposed to it. Most are polyester based with nitrocellulose filler material, although I dont think it would be a problem, it is definitly not as durable as epoxy with fillers. It also tends to be very soft and heavy in relation to epoxt thickened with micro ballons or colloidial silica.....try it but be careful.....Mike
