What everyone forgets when yelling libel is that we are dealing an injury to reputation. That injury has to result in some measurable monitary damage to the injuried party. Thus if one's reputation is, let us say less than exemplary, it's kind of hard to injure. Even damage to a good reputation may not be measurable in monitary terms. When one picks a fight with a hog one better be prepared to get dirty. And then there are the 1st amendment considerations. The long and short of it are: you're going to spend a lot in attorney fees to attempt to show your reputation has been injuried and you have suffered financial harm. Hurt feelings aren't going to get you there from here.
