For those of you who have misgivings about banning George, consider that if George so chooses he could easily set up a message forum on his own web site.

If the resources and advise he provides is so valued then builders could easily migrate to the new forum. If they think his expertise outweighs the intrusions he makes and inconsiderate abuse that is handed out they could hang around.

I think if you consider such a possibility and then begin to imagine the contentious nature of the community George might invite and how bad that would be. Then you begin to realize the value of this resource that Nick's has provided us.

Like many others I have been what you probably would consider a "lurker" on this board, I have derived great benefit from the sharing of ideas here over the last three years or so while I have built three boats. Personally I can't think any concept that George has provided that has helped in building any of my boats. He asks some provoking questions but provides few answers. He also has told people their boats are worthless, called people liars and told them they are incompetent.

I say ban him forever...he will never change.
