Great responses! I'm going to go with the LT, and I'll just make sure if I go fishing, I won't bring my nicest stuff, just in case a big striper or bonito gets the best of me. I'm sure I'll be posting more questions on here as I start building it.

Anyone know of an 17LT in or around the Boston area I could see in person, so I can see what the finished product is supposed to look like up close?
