BTW (I have no connection with this fine establishment other than being a satisfied customer)

I got an Email response from them just hours after I asked about options for repairing my broken Arrowhead paddle. They will gladly fix my paddle for me for a $15 labor charge. (It costs me 15 bucks worth of grief from the wife just to steal an hour alone in the shop!) For the added cost of a ferrule they will turn it into a two piece break down model and maintain the original length. Or if I want to fix it myself they would be happy to 1. talk me through the proper 1 piece repair process or 2. send me the ferrule (at a reasonable cost) and talk me through the installation. I am one happy camper.

This kind of customer service gives one hope ...
