Hi John,
I had a similar problem with my ROS after I put a new disc on it. It turned out to be the sanding discs themselves were not sticking to the hooks and would come off after 5 min. of sanding. The store told me it was the pad but it was brand new! I exchanged the discs for some norton discs and they worked fine. Now I have a hard time to remove them. I was using the Porter Cable discs and have now swapped to the Norton. A little more per package and a lot less aggravation but they don't come off.
