After fighting the same problem, several years ago I removed the hooks from the pad and changed over to pressure sensitive adhesive discs. 3M sells them in boxed rolls of 50 for about $10, and other mfrs make them too. I've never had one of these come off. If you need to reuse one that you pulled off, the spray adhesive that you will use for your carved foam seat works just dandy.
: I am doing my sanding with my ROS sander. After a half hour of sanding the

: the cottony residue left on the sander from the disc. Also, can the disc's
