I also went to the self adhesive on mine. One thing to watch for: When the disc is worn, and it's time to change, you might tear it while peeling it off. If so, you MUST get all the little pieces of paper backing off the sander before applying another disc. Anything you leave on there, no matter how thin, leaves a high spot and will cause the disc to dig a little in that spot, so, you will get swirl marks or even scratches. Kinda like buying some of the cheaper grades of sand paper and getting varying sizes of grit on the paper. NOT GOOD at high speed.
