: I find it easiest to just set the saw at the thickness you want the strips
: and feed the board into it instead of trying to adjust the saw every time.
: Use a zero-tolerance insert for your tablesaw so there is no gap around the
: blade, and fix a featherboard right above the blade to hold the plank down
: and make it harder to get your fingers near the blade.
: Some people will place a featherboard beside the plank to push it against the
: fence and then move the featherboard for each cut, but with care you may
: be able to do without this.
: You may want to make a fence extension so you have a good long fence to help
: keep the plank feeding straight.
