The lines forthis boat were in my head fofr awhile and finished on a trip to mystic when I saw this great whaling boat one the deck of a whaler and noticed the "belly" on her, I added the belly to the decked sailing canoe in my head and the lines fell onto the paper easier than any others I have sweated thoough.
Didn't have time to tell Rehd that it really looks like my two mother cats with kittens soon with the bellies.....The Piccolo was the other boat I was going to build for myself, but just thought I would try one of my own for sailing, with the 36 inch beam it hasn't gotten me, or my champagne partner, wet.....yet.
