Cool! I'll get some really long boards just to try this. It sounds like a two person job, especially with the 16 footers.

Do you plane your stock before stripping? I'm worried about the bow, cup, twist, warp, and everything else boards do between the time you select it, and the time you cut it. It seems almost senseless to try to flatten 12'+ long boards, but the planer is handy and paid for. At least maybe take out the cup so the board rides flat?
