this is interesting as you include a full diagnosis. Too thin and too wide, no wonder. This might well be an easy error for any first time greenland paddle builder - 3.5" seems so narrow, gotta add a bit! Adding this information to some earlier threads on flutter definitely guides one towards thick ridge down middle, thin edges, rather narrow. and thick loom suited to the hand in question.
