Hope it goes well with the Ortho Doc. First (as I understand) is how is the "rotator cuff" How "separated" was your shoulder, did it "pop" right back in or was it the ER that put it back in place? Hope it went back in quick and easy, else your Dr. may need to do an MRI to see the "cuff". Don't worry if you have a good ortho Dr. this is pretty straight forward for him (see's it all the time). Then I can only strongly second the need for very good physical therapy (after you have mended). A good physical therapist is really needed to get your range of motion back. No doc or sitting around healing will get your range back. You need help, because a good work out is needed and by yourself you may not accept the painful excersizes that will get you all better. Take care and for now just take it slow and heal, but as soon as your able DO YOUR EXCERSISES !!
