Here is the beveling-in-place tool I use, It also works well to clean up any electric glue squeeze-out which would of course interfere with the next strip.

Bungee hooks have been very satisfactory to use, however are a bit delicate as those shown are made of some fairly old and abused cedar. The alternate (next time) design would be stronger, and apply the clamping forces (vectors) slightly differently. As it is now,I must pull slightly more tension on the inside (down), then ease up a bit when pulling up to hook on the outside, and rely on friction across the sheer-strip to maintain the difference. As the hull shape begins to curve more, this is less of a factor. As to how many....I found that double the number of frames (forms) plus about 6 to 8 seems to work very well. I've never run out, but seem to use them all.

The hull is indeed of the Endeavor 17 family, it's the Resolute 16/6
