I've been playing with this idea for a few years-in my head and on paper-glad to see it works for you. Should work with a trim router as well. I've seen a similar system for spiling heavy hull planking. Nice to know it can be scaled down. A great way to eliminate the time and expense of bead and cove and the fit, plane and try again of hand beveling. Now if you'd just develop a system for router cutting the lands and gains necessary for lapstrake. . .

Just imagine what these made up in nylon or acrylic would do. I think you should patent them. They would appear to have applications beyond the kayak klub.

I've looked closely at Moores designs. Any particular reasons you went this way?
