Hi Geo. C.

I don't have a whole lot of good reasons, I own every kayak and canoe book ever published, strip built,sof,stitch and glue I love em all. And at one time or another I was ready to build any one of them. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I made my way thru college working for a large naval architecture firm and have a certain appreciation for what I view as traditional construction techniques. As I recall when I first looked thru Moore's book and saw his sheer clamp variation on the hull/deck joint, I knew that was going to be my first kayak. Then I wavered some more.

I would probably still be wavering if it was't for this bbs, it was time to fish or cut bait....8-)

So the answer seems to be...build-em-all.
