I am looking for a design that is 13' or less, but capable of a 200 pound paddler. I teach entry level kayaking skills typically in a lake or pool, and use the Riverrunner R5 design. I would like to build something similar or smaller in wood strip design. I have experience with building two canoes in this manner, so I do not feel intimidated by a kayak. I would appreciate design or plan suggestions.
