I agree with you 100%, A sheer clamp absolutely dosen't make sense in that case, but like I said I personally am a bit old fashioned, and for my first effort at strip building, As I think George was trying to point out, I too was a little flinchy at the prospect of rolling out that same seam tape....Maybe my next boat 8-)

BTW I'm a real fan of your work and web site, keep it up!!!
