Interesting idea. We had talked about this some time back, and I don't remember if anyone ever tried it. Rob Macks, I believe, mentioned running the strips over the table saw and removing a very small amount of the lower lip on the cove. Not sure if he uses that technique or just mentioned it. Let us know how the fit works out.
