: I just put a sealer coat on a hull and then found a couple small glue spots I
: missed despite wetting down the hull twice. Obviously I need to get more
: light. I'd like to sand out these spots and re-seal but I'm pretty sure
: I'll have to sand the entire hull down, otherwise I'll have blotches of
: lighter color showing through where I sand.
: I'm hoping I'm wrong. Any thoughts/experience appreciated.
From what I understand, you are stuck with the blotches and will just learn to live with them if they are small. If they are huge you might be able to sand the entire area down again but you may just be making big blotches instead of little ones.
I had some of these and just considered them learning curve and went on. They really aren't that noticable to anyone but me and they probably don't affect the performance of the boat that much
Have fun and good luck.
