: Cheap foam used for the sealing of a a window air conditioner is about 1-1/4
: inch square and comes in 36 inch lengths or there abouts. Put on your glas
: and resin, cover with Saran Wrap (R) and press in the foam to force the
: glass and resin into your corners. A string tied around the whole thing
: will keep the foam in place and providing even pressure.

When I get to the coaming I will try a different aproach that may or may not work, but I will submit pictures. I will use two part auto body putty wiped up to the exact shape cross section I want the combing to be, and wiped up along a strait board as a guide. It will be strait. When its sets up, (it will take three wipings to fill out) I will take it off and set it around the cockpit rim as it should still be plyable enough for this if I work fast. When it cures completely it will retain its shape and can be epoxied to the rim. I have made simular things but nothing this big and it depends on how fast I can work and get a good job. We'll see.
