Ditto on David's comment...while the laminations certainly aren't the works of art that many participants on this BBS produce, they really don't look bad as long as you do a decent job of evening out the edges with a small drum sander or router bit. (Plus they're covered up by your spray skirt most of the time when you're on the water.)
