well, I dols it for 250, and when he bought it the guy said that he had "a fetish for odd wooden boats" and believe me that boat was odd. I made it when I was 13 I'm 16 now. I see how the thicker ribs would work better, I studied a frame we have where I work that is made VERY tradtionally, all lashed together n all that jazz, I just seem to think a composite rib could be made soooo much more easily then steam bending. maybe not. I've got a nice 10 foot ceder plank just waiting for the table saw, I figure if I were to rip that up, I could make most of my frame.
