A lot of my ideas don't work out, but every once in a while .... ! anyway it's one of the things I enjoy about working on my own boat :-) I'm still reading the carbon cockpit layup. I see what you mean about using 1/4" strips and bending them to the "max" and then "filling" in the rest, thanks for the tip, I'll keep it in the back of my mind should I build another stripper. i really appreciate the feed back.
