Starting there, and borrowing liberally from Dale Frolander who borrowed from Joe Greenley, I came up with the seat shown below. The fabric is Spandura, somebody's version of Lycra, from Seattle Fabrics (seattlefabrics.com), glued on with 3M High Strength 90 spray adhesive. After carving the minicell, I stretched the fabric between 2 long pieces of scrap strips, held on with stationery clips. Then I sprayed the glue, 3 thin coats on the foam and 2 on the fabric, and let it tack up. Then I carefully placed the moderately stretched foam on top of the seat, then held it down with my posterior for exactly 1/2 inning. Lubricated the dead weight frequently with beer. Then more glue, tuck the sides in, fasten to the hull with velco, and it's ready to go. Not visible is the minicell pedestal, shaped to fit the space between the hull, deck and bulkhead, with a piece of velcro to hold the backrest. The seat angle is 5* from horizontal, and the backrest is 7* from vertical. Thanks, Rehd.
