: Starting there, and borrowing liberally from Dale Frolander who borrowed
: from Joe Greenley, I came up with the seat shown below. The fabric is
: Spandura, somebody's version of Lycra, from Seattle Fabrics
: (seattlefabrics.com), glued on with 3M High Strength 90 spray adhesive.
: After carving the minicell, I stretched the fabric between 2 long pieces
: of scrap strips, held on with stationery clips. Then I sprayed the glue, 3
: thin coats on the foam and 2 on the fabric, and let it tack up. Then I
: carefully placed the moderately stretched foam on top of the seat, then
: held it down with my posterior for exactly 1/2 inning. Lubricated the dead
: weight frequently with beer. Then more glue, tuck the sides in, fasten to
: the hull with velco, and it's ready to go. Not visible is the minicell
: pedestal, shaped to fit the space between the hull, deck and bulkhead,
: with a piece of velcro to hold the backrest. The seat angle is 5* from
: horizontal, and the backrest is 7* from vertical. Thanks, Rehd.

"cranky" is a bit of an understatement. is there another way i can see your pic? it sounds good.
