: This is only a suggestion, I've had some success getting fibre glass to go
: where it is unwilling to go by wrapping the wetted out glass with that
: clear plastic stuff you wrap your sandwiches in. In New Zealand we call it
: cling film or Glad wrap, when the plastic stuff is in place on top of the
: wet epoxy, you can mould it around without getting into a mess, with your
: fingers. I've found it usefull for going around tight radius corners as
: well.

Thanks for my better understanding of calibal sp. and I won't be using that for a fillet now for this problem. I will seal the haul with epoxy first before I do anything. I can't use the idea of a radius made with wood flower because the looks of the red haul against the white ash would kind of be smudged looking. The glass strands layed along the corner problem is a possibility. My thought now is to do something like you do Don with the wrap. I know from fiberglassing many years ago that tucking glass into a corner as the epoxy is getting tacky can work but sometimes the glass is streatched too tight, and when you try to poke it into corners it wants to come back out and leaves a void. I might epoxy just along the ash problem area'a and when that gets tacky, then drape the glass over the haul, tuck in the glass at the tacky areas and roll on the complete glass wetout.
