Spray glue

The key is to use multiple light coats, so the glue does not soak through. Dark colors help also. This particular fabric was pretty thick, on the order of 1mm, so it was easy to prevent soak-through. If it does happen though, it's no big deal. I would recommend more beer and baseball.
