Mickey Mouse engineering or faulty layup?
One moment's inattention, and BAM! The port bow falls off your $4,500,000 playtoy. Who do you sue?
Super trick boat, though. Designed to do 20 kts without sails!!! The masts are rotatable airfoils.
The damage was repaired, lots of additional ring ribs were added, and sea trials resumed. Trouble is, the whole mess is now at the bottom of the North Atlantic. Tragic loss of the craft and all hands. A moment of silence, please.
