If you tie the ends of your bungees together, one failure and the whole harness fails. the whole thing. on both sides. SOL.

also the stretch of the bungee over the whole length of the line over and back and over etc etc will be huge at the paddle shaft. huge. so limit the stretch. or use a different method.

think about stop knotting on ea side of fittings.
