Part of building is designing, or making a wise choice of which of the available designs to use.

I'll start with a paddle first, and then build the boats later. Once I find out how much I'm allowed to use existing designs for guidance, I'll draw up the forms. Then I'll have to decide whether to go strip, stitch & glue, or skin on frame. Then I'll redraw the forms to suit the method I decide to build.
