The fiberglass did pull away from the inside corners of my protective keel ash strip and when I would push it in on one side it would come out on the other side. I cut the fiberglass down the center of the keel protective ash strip with a utility knife and then brushed tucked the glass into the problem areas OK but it looked a little ragged where I made the cut. I then layed 6" wide and a 4" wide reinforcement glass over that area at both the stern and bow and it looked good after I did that. Most people seem to get their fiberglassing done in about 45 minutes but I was at this for 3 hours. This morning I will use my scrapers to clean up the ragged glass edges,something I have never done before.
