Never thought of that, no, simply cutting the edge as flat as possible to the hull. I did go over the cured epoxy with 100grit , then brushed the the sheer with epoxy then sanded gently with 180 grit. Holding the razor as flat as possible helps a lot without scoring the glass underneath. Of course if you look close enough you'll see too much of everything.
