Sure. Very popular. Mike Hanks is the pro at three and counting, Roger has built one as you've seen, Rehd is in the process of a 18' model which is similar, and I built one last fall. There are some others here that I'm am forgetting (sorry :-) Very easy to build. I haven't had a chance to gauge it's performance much, though. Mike probably has the most info on that. This boat is easily modified to your desires and Mike has done that with good success. His latest is light and apparently very nice to handle. He is fond of the plywood BK version too. He seems to have trended towards the original Skeene design and away from Putz.
