when I needed to remove contact cement I .... sanded.
can't remember what it was,
I just remember it was lots of work, with the sander.
it's more friendly than the chemicals.
the hard cell foam thigh braces from pygmy are a wonderful thing.
if they were not comfortable for you you probably didn't
installed them correct.
I have them & they are great !
